Find your starting point

A clear next step starts with the right question.

You may be shaping an idea, untangling a platform or improving something already in use. Start with the decision you need to make, then bring the relevant disciplines together.

Explore a new opportunity

Describe the user, the task and what is difficult today. A focused assessment can compare possible approaches, identify missing information and define what a pilot would need to demonstrate before any broader commitment.

Modernize a critical system

Map the dependencies, journeys and operational constraints around an existing application. Identify a useful boundary for change, plan how old and new components will work together, and define a route back if a release needs to be reversed.

Improve everyday operations

Look at recurring incidents, manual handoffs and information gaps. Clarify who owns the service, what users need to see and which observations can help prioritize a practical improvement rather than adding another disconnected tool.

Questions, answered

Before the first conversation.

Where should a technology conversation begin?

Start with a workflow or decision that needs to improve. Explain who uses it, where it becomes difficult and which constraints matter. A product idea, a process description or a high-level system map can be enough to frame a useful initial conversation.

How do services and industries fit together?

Service pages describe capabilities such as application engineering, data integration and quality engineering. Industry pages put possible applications in a business context. Use both to connect the problem you recognize with the disciplines it may involve.

Can we discuss an existing application?

Describe what the application supports, its important dependencies and the changes you are considering. A modernization discussion can examine one journey or component at a time; it does not need to begin with an assumption that the entire system should be replaced.

What should we share in an initial enquiry?

Share the business objective, the people affected and a high-level description of the current environment. Mention timing or dependency constraints if you know them. Keep passwords, personal records, confidential documents and production datasets out of the enquiry.

What would you like to make possible?

Tell us about the challenge, the people it affects and what a useful next step would look like. You do not need to arrive with a finished technical specification.
